First Vision

After many years of discussing my photography with  Mary Ann Woomer at SF Scones Works,  I finally took the leap and presented my first photography show. The show as highly successful, receiving high praise from both friends and strangers alike, and helped me realize that making my photographs available to the world at large is a calling for me.
The images chosen for the show ranged from large landscapes to the small details one finds at your feet if your paying attention; and ranges in location from Patagonia to New Zealand, and as close as the American River The show was intended to display a large scope of  the world as seen through my eye and lens.
The title, FIRST VISION, was intended to echo Suzuki-roshi’s ‘beginners mind,’ and Allen Ginsberg’s  ‘first thought, best thought.’
